Indwelling of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Ghost comes to indwell and seal the believers as God's earnest of redemption (Eph. 1:13-14).
His abiding presence is guaranteed until the believer is entirely redeemed by being taken to be with the Lord. The Holy Spirit inhabits the body of the believer uniquely, like the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers. A Child of God (John 1:12) is accepted in the Beloved, Jesus (Eph. 1:6), and blessed assurance of God's presence and blessing. (John 10:28-30). We have the promises of God.
Despite these wonderful changes, a believer following God is convicted of some sin of omission or commission (James 4:17) that must be confessed (1 John 1:9) and put away (180 turns). These sins of omission and commission are present at the time of conversion, and some will lie unnoticed by the believer until the Lord shines His light into the believer's heart.
The Holy Spirit can coexist to accept that the demons can coexist with the Holy Spirit that indwells in us until detected and expelled. Sometimes, the Christian cannot seem to get rid of the habitual sin and needs help. Jesus cast out demons everywhere He went. As believers, the body of Christ should be equipped to help other believers struggling with sin, cast out demons, and teach them the Word of God, March 16:17.
Casting out demons means to eject, bring forth, cast forth, drive out, expel, pluck, pull out, take out, thrust out, put forth, send away, and send forth with God's authority that commands for deliverance. These may be strongholds that are gripping the believer.
What is Casting Out Demons?
Mark 16:17 says, "And these signs (casting out) shall follow them that believe in My name shall 'cast out devils" Cast out means pluck out, cast out, remove it. Casting out demons is a commend for deliverance. A spirit of rejection is a spirit. We command the spirit of rejection out. Then, it is up to the believer to renew their mind by reframing their thoughts.
Jesus Cast Them Out of the Synagogues
Jesus casting out demons in the synagogues. There are references to Jesus healing all the sick and casting demons out of them all.
Matt 10:7-8 - Apostles cast out demons
Matt 11:4-6 - We should not be offended in any work of Jesus that includes deliverance
Matt 18:18-20 - Teach them to observe all things
Mark 16:15-20 - Go into the world - cast out demons
Luke 7:21-23 - Minister to the "blind, lame, lepers, deaf, dead and the poor."
Acts 8:5-7 - Preaching the Word - unclean spirits came out - healing by deliverance
Jesus cast out demons everywhere He went, and He wanted Christians to follow His pattern of ministry. The world will never be conquered for God from Satan unless deliverance is practiced worldwide!
The biggest enemy of God in deliverance is Christians, who are ignorant, saying Christians cannot have a demon. This keeps the world in bondage.
We need an all-out spiritual warfare against Satan and his forces of evil, Training how people can become in bondage to the demonic world when involving themselves with the occult, new age practices, sin issues such as open sexuality, etc.
There are Two Basic Ways to Get Rid of Demons
One way is through deliverance from demons - through deliverance ministry either in group or one-on-one. Second, following Jesus and praying and fasting.
Our calling is to be teachers. The Lord told us to help train an army of deliverance workers and ministers. The benefit is seeing the power of God flow through you, and signs, wonders, and miracles performed by God in the people you minister to. The Lord gets all the glory.
