Watch the video below on how to forgive yourself for past sins.

Are there events of failures in your past that you keep replaying and cannot forgive yourself?

Does it make you feel unacceptable to receive God’s love, and acceptance?

Are you able to live in the present? Or stuck thinking about past issues of mistakes, hurts from others, failure, etc.?

Are you able to move forward in the things of God?

It is hard to reach your destination or destiny in the Lord if you allow the enemy to remind you of your past sins, and mistakes, or when someone does not call, or respond and feeling rejected.

Didn’t Jesus, when God saved you, take your past away and wash you clean?

If you confessed your sins to him, does Jesus still remember them?

According to the Old Testament, Isaiah 43:25 says, “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”

According to the New Testament, Rather than treating us as our sins deserve, God removes our sins from us “as far as the east is from the west”—an immeasurable distance (Psalm 103:12). Even as Christians, we sin, but we know that God is faithful to forgive (1 John 1:9).

Many Christians have difficulty forgiving themselves or believing a lie, feeling rejected because of who they are listening to. When we give our lives to the Lord, he removes our clothes of sin (we are forgiven) and puts on us a robe of righteousness as adopted, accepted, and loved. Right?

Isaiah 61:10 says, "I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels."

Buy beef or chicken that is organic, grass-fed, and grain-finished beef. The prices do not go up for 2 years plus throw in 2 pounds of bacon.

That means when you gave your life to the Lord, you said I do, and being betrothed, You are saved even if you are trying to b

reak a sin issue. The Lord is full of mercy, grace, and love. Our sin brings death, but sometimes when we get saved, the old mental nature carries over. It takes renewing our minds with the Word of God to change us. The enemy will put condemnation on you. Run to Jesus, and receive His forgiveness and love. Don’t allow the voice that sounds like you get you to believe the lies. Satan is the accuser of the brethren.

We put on Christ – the Robe of Righteousness - In Galatians 3:27, “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”

Who is God? He is the king of kings and the creator of all things.

Doesn’t he adopt us? Are you adopted into Him?

Does he accept us just the way we are? Salvation is the beginning of sanctifying our habitual wrong thinking and sin issues. He works with us to overcome. So, be careful not to listen to the enemy that lies and tries to separate you from the truth of God’s word.

In scripture, it says, “We are joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). "If children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him." We shall inherit all that God has, and Christ is and has. We are part of the family! We are joint heirs with Christ.

Who is your family now? Do you belong to your family?

Not only that since He is the king? Are we royalty?

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).

So, where is the condemnation coming from? God or Satan? Does God condemn or convict? We are accepted even when we all fall short – why because nothing separates us from the Love of Christ?

Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;

Isn’t it another spirit that is not of God?

What can we do to not fall prey to Satan, according to James 4:7

Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We need to discern the good and the evil. Right? In Hebrews 5:13-14

13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are [a]of full age, that is, those who by reason of [b]use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

What does that mean? The enemy will remind you of your past mistakes, sins, and failures.

Our parents, friends, or anyone else can do the same. Anyone can be used by satan to determine who we are. Right?

So, who are we going to listen to? God’s Word is eternal that will outlive our parents or voices of satan, memories of words spoken by parents, husbands, bosses, etc.

Who are we?

If Jesus has forgotten it, then we need to put it back on the cross and dress in the royal robe of righteousness.

Discern our thoughts and put them out. How do we put them out?

Ephesians 6:16 – with the shield of faith puts out fiery darts – what are fiery darts? If it is not love that you hear that sounds like your voice don’t accept it

Fiery darts are the enemy of accusation to stop you from moving forward. To get you to replay the past regrets, failures, sins, makes you feel not good enough for God, not loved by God, insecure.

Is our identity in Christ? Have we not been adopted by Him?

Not only do not accept it but cast it down according to 2 Corinthians 10:Then, the next step is when we discern that voice.

2 Corinthians 10:5-6 KJV

casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

So, Cast it down.

Then, the next step is to renew your mind with truth. Keep that robe of righteousness on that the devil wants you to remove and put on your old rag clothes.

2 Corinthians 5:17 King James Version (KJV)

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

We are new creatures, but we have old mindsets (strongholds) that must be pulled down and broken.

How do we do that? Renewing the mind.

Romans 12:2 KJV "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

This means reframing your mind with truth. When doing this, we put out the fiery darts the enemy throws.

Ephesians 4:23 KJV

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

Philippians 4:6-7 KJV

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Thank the Lord by giving him praise. He is worthy to be praised.

Romans 8:1 8. "1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."

If you live in the flesh, repent, receive the Lord’s forgiveness, and turn from your sin (180 turn), which means walking toward Christ away from the World.

Colossians 3:2 KJV "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Time is short. Don’t allow the enemy to tempt you with thoughts that take away your identity in Christ or to fall into sin."

If you do, run to him, not run away from Him like Adam and Eve did in the garden. He wants to cleanse us.

Jesus is for you and not against you.
